We would like to celebrate our Wedding in the Lake District with all the people we love.
We have hired Silverholme Manor for the week to spend time and build memories with our nearest and dearest.
The Georgian lakeside manor house looks onto Windermere and sits on the 5,000 acre Graythwaiste estate.
About the event
The Lake District - a place we love and spend a lot of time as a family. We got engaged here and would like to build our wedding memories here...with you.
We would love for you to attend the week of activities including celebrations for Dave's 30th birthday on Thursday 5th September. We completely understand if you can't make the full week - we know this is a lot to ask.
Children - the invite is open to your children for the week (if you want to bring them). However, we kindly ask in the ceremony for noisy children to be taken outside as we say our vows. We hope that you will understand and respect this decision.
Wedding Week Itinery
All are welcome.
Over the next few months we will be updating the itinerary
with details of the wedding week and list some of our favourite things
to do in the area.
Think quiz nights, murder mystery, pizza making and a karaoke. Please also go off and explore the lakes while we set up for the big day.

Wedding Sports Day
Wednesday 4th September
Sumo Suits & Classic Sports Day Games.
11am @ Silverholme.
We would like to invite all of our guests for a sports day where friends and family of the bride and groom go head to head in a variety of games.
Pie & peas will be provided after.
Dave's 30th Birthday
Thursday 5th September
10am Outdoor Rock Climbing for those able. Or a gentle hike for the rest.
4pm BBQ & drinks @ Silverholme.

We have extremely limited parking available on-site so please let us know in advance if you're planning on driving so we can arrange where to park your car. We recommend arranging drop-offs on the day of the wedding.
